Mark Schifferdecker

Mark has served as an elder of Girard Bible Church since 1998 (25 years in 2023). Mark put his faith in Jesus Christ at the age of 10, after faithful exposure to the gospel by his parents and church family from a very young age.

Mark is blessed to be married to his wife Nancy, for the past 35 years (since 1988). Mark and Nancy have two adult children, Sara and Bethany, and one granddaughter, Norah. Sara and her husband, Spencer, as well as Bethany and her fiancé Jaysen, are all involved in full time ministry work.

Mark serves as Treasurer of the SAT-7 International and USA boards, and also serves on the board of Haiti Health Ministries. Mark works at GNBank in Girard.
